Satomi Watanabe (the one in the wedding dress) and Graham Chave (the one in the tux and the hair gel) finally decided to tie the knot at the Matsuki-cho church in Fukushima City, Japan, on February 27th 1999.

Just after the ceremony. We both appear to be smiling, but in reality those are grimaces at the bitterly cold weather and the lack of thermal underwear.  My mother is in the background, wisely clad for any level of sub-zero temperatures.

Next came the reception, a grand, lavish affair.
